I work for two progressive companies and a group of local artists...do cyber and real life actions for wide spectrum civil rights, environment and health care reform...would enjoy new friends as well as my long time friends; and if a spark sets fire so be it! I own a horse, and I have had cats, dogs, fish, etc. I have been double certified SCUBA, Master Gardener, two black belts in karate, have done Iaido, Aikido, and Full Contact Kick Boxing in my youth. I was guardian for both parents in their last years. I have traveled and would like to do so again soon. I like kayaking, boating, theatre and cinema, reading when I have time. I have studied history, natural sciences, and world religion/philosophy throughout my life for my own pleasure. I love music (not so much country), but cannot play an instrument; like to sing. I have been known to paint occasionally and write poetry sporadically. I don't smoke, prefer people who are moderate in their "vices". I consider myself a western tantric Buddhist/Atheist and see no conflict in that statement.
