I am a mom (2 daughters 12 &14), a public health researcher (HIV prevention) and divorced in the last year. My activism covers two areas - increasing knowledge and acceptance of harm reduction strategies for folks with heroin dependence AND public education advocacy. These areas of activism basically cover much of my life - my girls and work. In my spare time I like to hike and camp with my golden retriver, Mago. Being physically active is important and I do that through walking Mago, running, and working out at the gym. With summer coming, I'll be on the bike too. Weekends I spend exploring what's happening in Providence with friends - movies, restaurants, free concerts, theater - whatever is different and I can afford. From Activist Passions I am looking to re-enter the dating scene after 20 years.
